Talc

Talc is number 1 on Mohs hardness scale, is a phyllosilicate.
Phyllosilicates occur when the silica tetrahedra join together to form flat sheets. These sheets are held together by weak bonding between the free oxygen on the tetrahedra and so cleave easily. Phyllosilicates include both micas (biotite & muscovite), talc, and clay minerals.[1]
