Barton Fink is a 1991 American film written, directed, and produced by The Coen Brothers It is the story of a self-centered playwright who comes to Hollywood to work for a major studio, but suffers from writer's block and finds himself involved in a series of murders. The film is not a straitforward drama, but rather a surreal dark comedy..
