Ladin

Ladin is a Romance language spoken in a few valleys of the Dolomites mountains in Northeastern Italy. It is not to be confused with Romansh, one of the four official languages of Switzerland, which is sometimes incorrectly called Ladin. Both Ladin and Romansh belong to the family of Rhaeto-Romance languages, but their common origin hasn't been decisively proved.
