John Perry Barlow Born, Jackson Hole, Wyoming October 3, 1947, is a political activist and former lyricist for the Grateful Dead. Mr. Barlow was one of the founders of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Barlow's political allegiance has changed over the years going back and forth between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. He has often claimed to support anarchism.
FutureBanker Magazine' named him "One of the 25 Most Influential People in Financial Services, in 1999. He writes, speaks, and consults on a broad variety of subjects, particularly the digital economy. In 1997, he was a Fellow at Harvard's Institute of Politics and has been, since 1998, a Berkman Fellow at the Harvard Law School.[1]
