H. Wickham Steed full name Henry Wickham Steed (October 10, 1871 - January 13, 1956) was a British journalist and historian.[1] Steed was anti-semitic and a Germanophobe; in an editoral he wrote in the London Times in 1914, he labeled efforts to stop the impending war as "German-Jewish trick".
