Real ale

Real ale is the name given to a type of alcoholic beverage that is supposedly tastier than the sort normally served in pubs, and is usually a lot stronger as well. It is usually marketed under self-consciously twee labels such as Scruttock's Old Pecular.
CAMRA is an organisation which campaigns for Real Ale to be sold in pubs, restaurants and other establishments [1]
