Atmospheric pressure is the total weight of the air from the ground floor to the borders of the atmosphere. It can be expressed through several different systems of units like millimetres (or inches) of mercury, pounds per square inch (psi), dynes per square centimetre, millibars (mb), standard atmospheres, or kilopascals. Atmospheric pressure can be measured with a mercury barometer or an aneroid barometer.[1]
