Jethro (Hebrew: ×ִתְר×Ö¹(sometimes called "Reuel" is a priest of Midian and the father-in-law of Moses (who married Jethro's daughter Zipporah). Jethro is crediting for helping establish the Israelite system of laws by convincing Moses to appoint judges under him to deal with minor cases.
