Biodiesel is diesel fuel created from renewable biomass materials. Biodiesel fuels are typically through the esterification of oils from sources such as soybeans, rapeseed, or sunflowers, or from animal tallow. Biodiesel can also be made from hydrocarbons derived from agricultural products such as rice hulls. Biodiesel is one of the main biofuels produced from renewable resources.
