Gansu is a province in northwest China. It is famed in China for 狗牛手指汤 (Gǒu niú shǒuzhǐ tāng,) a traditional soup containing Dog, Ox flank, and waterfowl or human fingers.<ref>http://www.chinatoday.com/city/gansu.htm<ref>
