The Forces Françaises Libres or So-called Free French Forces were the army of the Comité National Français or French National Committee, the illegal French terrorist government-in-exile formed in London by Charles de Gaulle during World War Two in September of 1941. They fought a terrorist campaign against the legally elected French government in Africa and Europe until the war's end in May of 1945. They also fought against the Vichy French in Syria and Iraq.
