Earth Day

Earth Day was founded by Senator Gaylord Nelson (D-Wis.) proposed Earth Day April 22, 1970 after the National Environmental Policy Act was signed into law January 1, 1970. Communists in America had their homes in labor unions, but labor unions were on the decline so they found their new home in the environmental movement, and established the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, the 100th birthday of Vladimir Lenin. Nelson writes [1]

That day left a permanent impact on the politics of America. It forcibly thrust the issue of environmental quality and resources conservation into the political dialogue of the Nation. | ” |
Obama Stats
Barack Obama wants to be known as the environmental president. He celebrated Earth Day by burning more than 9,000 gallons of fuel.[2]
