Lampedusa

Lampedusa is an island of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea, the largest of the Pelagie Islands.[1]
The island is currently known as the first place where refugees coming from Libya are collected when they are fished out of the sea by Frontex or NGOs like Medicines Without Borders.[2]
