Muslim ban

A Muslim ban on entry to the United States was proposed by then-candidate Donald Trump in response to a domestic terrorist attack perpetrated by an Islamic immigrant. Trump emphasized that the proposed travel ban would be temporary. Nonetheless, critics disregarded both its temporary nature and its relation to terrorism. They branded it (and him) as racist.
