Atheistic way?
Could someone please elaborate on how Mill was homeschooled "in an atheistic way"? It doesn't seem to contribute to the article in any way.
Moderate conservative?
Good question, and probably like trying to fit a square peg into a selection of circular holes. He was a "classical liberal," kind of like some of the founding fathers, which reflects many of today's conservative values: laissez-faire, democracy, freedom of speech, equality of women. However, he was a fairly rabid atheist, so I'm not sure if trying to label him is worthwhile at all. DouglasA 14:27, 6 February 2010 (EST)
- It is a miscarriage of historical teaching by the very same professors who are teaching inaccurate American history. Particularly the issue of democracy. The Founders loathed democracy and disparaged it seemingly every chance they got. They put Republicanism head and shoulders above democracy. Progressingamerica (talk) 22:51, 28 July 2017 (EDT)
