Gaelic refers to three closely related modern Indo-European languages spoken on the islands Great Britain and Ireland. Irish Gaelic, usually known as Irish (or Gaeilge in its own speech), is spoken on the Island of Ireland, Manx Gaelic, which is spoken on the Isle of Man, and Scottish Gaelic in the Western Highlands of Scotland and The Hebrides.
