Defrock
This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Quidam65 (talk | contribs) at 02:34, January 27, 2018. It may differ significantly from current revision.
Defrock means to remove from a position of honor or privilege.
It is often used in connection with a church's removal of a cleric from authority.
Defrock is not the same as disfellowship; the latter implies removal from an entire church body while the former refers to removal from an office.
