Dr. Pepper is a carbonated, caffeinated soft drink sold in the USA by Cadbury Schwepes American Beverages (CSAB). In foreign countries control of the drink varies but in most foreign territories it is owned by the Coca-Cola company. Dr. Pepper was invented in 1885 in Waco, Texas by a German doctor named Charles Alderton. It is named after Dr. Charles T. Pepper.
