Ian HUNTLEY, convicted double murderer in UK who now identifies as a woman. Example of dangerous, violent "transgender" person. Known as the "Soham killer" after he killed two 10-year-old schoolgirls, Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, in 2002. Since conviction he has been confined in Frankland prison in Durham, serving a 40-year sentence. Fellow-prisoners alleged that he was interested in a sex-change in order to escape the tough Frankland prison to a "cushier" women's prison. If permission is granted, the UK National Health Service will be liable for the £100,000 costs of his sex-change surgery because of the Gender Recognition Act 2004. In 2018 it was announced that Huntley has now adopted the female name "Nicola". Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag [1]
