Ayurvedic medicine (or simply Ayurveda) is an ancient medical practice that originated in India more that 3,000 years ago. It takes a holistic view of health, focusing on maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual well-being rather than on treating illness.[1]

Like all New Age practices, reconciling it with Christianity can be problematic.
