Was Henry Ford really an anti-Semite? sounds dubious. Flippin 12:23, 7 May 2007 (EDT)
- Ford was very much an anti-Semite. He used his newspaper, the Dearborn Independent, to publish a series of articles together known as "The International Jew", where he argued there was a Jewish conspiracy to take over the world. He did later go on to apologize for it, though.--Steve 13:10, 7 May 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, the title was "The International Jew: The World's Foremost Problem."
- And the apology sparked a comic popular song of the 1920s, "Since Henry Ford Apologized to Me," in which a pair of Yiddish-accented comics exchange quips about being so thrilled they're going to trade their Chevrolet for a Ford, etc. I don't have the lyrics here, but it's on a CD collection entitled From Avenue A to the Great White Way, just in case you find it hard to believe...
