Geography
Located in South America[1], Brazil has the third largest area among American countries and the second largest population[2].
Government
It is currently governed by the leftist Partido dos Trabalhadores (Worker's Party)[3], a founding member of the Foro de São Paulo (Sao Paulo Forum)[4]. It has 26 states and 1 federal district;
