Kilt

The kilt is part of the traditional clothing of Scotland. It consists of heavy fabric wrapped around the waist of the wearer down to knee length and ordinarily sports a tartan pattern specific to the wearer's clan.

The kilt should not be confused with the skirt, which is of a far lighter fabric and can be of varying length, and generally worn by females.
Traditionally the kilt is worn without underwear, although this is often ignored by modern wearers.
