Liberal fairness

Liberal fairness refers to how liberals will often insist upon fairness for themselves, yet do not apply any reasonably fair standard to their treatment of conservatives.
For example, the New York Times falsely smeared Sarah Palin on page one of its newspaper, but would only run a retraction on a blog hidden from its readership.
