A seal is a marine animal that lives on land and in water. Although generally viewed as an entertaining animal, seals can be quite vicious.
In legal terminology, to seal is to mark a document with a seal; to authenticate or make binding by affixing a seal. As a noun in legal terminology, a seal is a court seal or a corporate seal.
Also, a SEAL team is a U.S. Navy Commando group.
