Battle of Bennington

The Battle of Bennington took place shortly prior to the Battle of Saratoga, on August 16, 1777. It took place in Walloomsac, New York, with the aid of the Green Mountain Boys who together with Continental soldiers successfully defended military stores in Bennington, Vermont.
