- Many people assert that Bush "stole" the election because of voting fraud. They cite discrepancies between polling and actual vote counts. I don't take it seriously, but apparently many liberals do. - OK, but sore losers are common. I'm not sure sour grapes by liberals in 2004 makes the election outcome controversial. Is JFK's victory in 1960 also described by liberals as "controversial"?
