Kent Hovind is a prominent Young Earth Creationist and conservative.
Some fellow Young Earth Creationists have distanced himself from Hovind because he is currently serving a ten-year term in U.S. federal prison for 58 tax offenses, obstructing federal agents and related charges, and because he has suggested a government role in the 9/11 attacks. [1]
