Kent Hovind

Kent Hovind (born 1953) is a prominent young Earth creationist and conservative. He founded Creation Science Evangelism Ministry in 1989. [1] He is well known for his standing $250,000 offer to anyone who can prove that evolution is the only explanation for the origin of species, and disproving all alternate explanations. [2] Critics of Dr. Hovind's offer allege it would be impossible to prove even the existence of gravity given that specific criteria for proof. The offer has gone unclaimed.
Some fellow young Earth creationists have distanced himself from Hovind because he is currently serving a ten-year term in U.S. federal prison for 58 tax offenses, obstructing federal agents and related charges. [3][4]
