Marriage is a strictly civil union that has nothing to do with religion or God. Marriage can be between a man and a woman, a woman and a woman, a man and a man and many more combinations of genders. the main point of marriage is to bring a couple closer together, and a book from 2,500 years ago should have no influence on social policy of 2020 politics.
