This article needs a complete rewrite; it appears to be possibly written from a non Christian standpoint. DanH 22:30, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

Not my impression, it does seem to be written by someone who doesn't think that the anti-Christ is meant to be a literal person. That's a view that many Christians have. Still, the article could use some rewriting. JoshuaZ 22:41, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

Either that or a Preterist perspective, I should clarify. DanH 22:42, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

One doesn't need to be preterist to see the antichrist as not a single individual. Anyways, I've expanded the article and reworked parts. Let me know what you think. JoshuaZ 22:55, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

Looks good! DanH 23:01, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

Do you think it is worth including some of the theories put forward for the idenitities of the anti-Christ (e.g. Hitler)? I don't think so, but any thoughts?-Sanser

Introduction

Most Christians say that the Antichrist will rule for 7 years, the first half of it he will pretend to be righteous and the other half he shows his true face. But where do they have it from? This isn't stated in the Bible. --Elessar (talk) 07:41, 7 July 2017 (EDT)

It is worth adding that Anti-Christ is prophesied to have power against the daily Sacrifice. Dan 11:31 "31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate." This had a partial fulfilment in bygone days under Antiochus. Our Lord also refers to this prophesy by the Prophet Daniel, and indicates its future fulfilment.
