Proteopathy

Aproteopathy is a disease caused by misfolded proteins. While all transmissible spongiform encephalopathy and prion diseases are proteopathies, they don't have to include prions to qualify. The most notable proteopathies include cystic fibrosis and type 2 diabetes.
