The Great Pyramid of Giza (2650 BC) is the largest of the Great Pyramids, and is the final resting place of the Egyptian pharoah Khufu. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is the only member of that list that is still largely in tact.

It originally stood 481 feet high and was the tallest structure on Earth until the nineteenth century AD. Each side measures 751 feet across. Each corner of the pyramid is precisely lined up with cardinal directions of the compass.[1]
