Mythicism refers to the disbelief of the historical existence of the figure Jesus Christ. This does not include those who deny claims of divinity made by Jesus but accept that Jesus was a historical figure. Adherents of this belief are called mythicists.

Virtually all scholars have deemed mythicism an incorrect and frivolous belief not based upon tangible evidence.
