Zheng He (1405–1433) was a Muslim admiral to the Ming dynasty of China. He took trips from China to India and the Middle East. Some have claimed that he even traveled to Africa on his voyages. However, historians more commonly give credit to the idea that Zheng's fleet reached the Americas rather than Africa.
