Wendy Russell Davis (born May 16, 1963) is a radical advocate for late-term abortion.[1] whose campaign was backed by leftist activist George Soros.[2] In 2014, Davis lost the gubernational election to Republican Greg Abbott, who still hold the seat. In 2020, she lost her bid for Texas' 21st congressional district to the incumbent Republican, Chip Roy.

She is a former state senator from Fort Worth. She staged a state Senate filibuster to block passage of Texas' ban on late-term abortions.
