Fog

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Philip J. Rayment (Talk | contribs) at 15:05, May 25, 2007. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Fog is a kind of mist or cloud that is at ground level. (Or sometimes, at sea level, this is why ships are sometimes equipped with foghorns to warn other ships which can't see them because of the fog.) The word fog or foggy is also used metaphorically to describe theories which are vague and unclear, as if in a real-world fog or mist.
