Welcome!

Hello, Welcome, and welcome to Conservapedia!

We're glad you are here to edit. To the right are some handy links, some of which you should read as soon as you can.

(You can include these links on your user page by putting {{Useful links}} on your page.)

Thanks for reading, Welcome!

Parameter 1 is effectively obsolete, as the default is the page name. It can still be used if (a) the template is not placed on a user's talk page (or user's page) (when would that happen?) or (b) if there is a need to use a different name than the user's actual page name (e.g. a user name might be fredp but his signature is set to read FredP).
