Reggae music originated in Jamaica. It is often associated with the Rastafari movement, which has influenced many prominent reggae musicians. A reggae album was produced on Darwin Day in 2006 in Birmingham in the United Kingdom, promoting an evolutionist viewpoint and Darwinian natural selection, and, in a bonus track, discussing the issue of Dover, Pennsylvania, and its decision to remove the teaching of young earth creationism from the science classroom.
