A Struggle session, sometimes also known as a Denunciation Rally, was a public demonstration used to humiliate people who did not conform to Mao Zedong Thought, and these sessions included harassment, beatings, excited accusations, and other displays of condemnation. They were public events used against "class enemies" of the Chinese Communist Party.
