American Thinker is a conservative news website created by Thomas Lifson in 2003. It is a daily internet publication devoted to the thoughtful exploration of issues of importance to Americans. Per their website

National security in all its dimensions -- strategic, economic, diplomatic, and military -- is emphasized. The right to exist and the survival of the State of Israel are of great importance to us. Business, science, technology, medicine, management, and economics in their practical and ethical dimensions are also emphasized, as is the state of American culture.

Legal Issues

After publishing articles by George Witkowski, Anne-Christine Hoff, and Andrea Widburg which claimed Dominion Voting Systems helped Democrats rig the 2020 election, American Thinker received a letter from Dominion's attorney’s explaining why they believe that their client had been the victim of defamatory statements. On January 15, 2021, the news website agreed to retract the claims of Dominion’s ties to Venezuela, fraud on voting machines that resulted in massive vote switching, and other claims that stated there is credible evidence Dominion acted fraudulently.[1]
