Perpetual virginity

Perpetual virginity is the Catholic doctrine that teaches that Mary was a lifelong virgin, even after she gave birth to Jesus Christ.
While rejected by Protestants, most of the early Protestant reformers believed in it, including Martin Luther, John Calvin, Thomas Cranmer, Ulrich Zwingli, and even John Wesley, who would found Methodism.[1]
