Dan

Dan is the fifth son of Jacob and first of Billah. He was named by Rachel Dan, meaning "judge" because, as she said "God has judged my case; and He has also heard my voice and given me a son." Dan was blessed at the end of Jacob's life and alloted a share in the Twelve Tribes of Israel.
