Trustworthy

Things are described as being "trustworthy" when one finds in them the reflection of his own opinion, of his own beliefs. People tend to refer only to those sources they trust, and they tend to trust only sources that confirm their beliefs. This well-documented bias [1] sadly refrains many otherwise intelligent people from gathering information from new, different sources, which emprisons them inside a paradigm that is often imposed by the culture they grew in.
