Michael Vincent Lawler (born September 9, 1986) is a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives for the New York 17th district. He defeated Democrat Sean Patrick Maloney. He is a former member in New York State Assembly.

In November 2023, Representative Lawler joined sixty-nine other Republicans to vote to establish a new $300 million building to house the FBI, despite reservations raised by conservatives about the fairness of the agency.[1]
