First Church of Christ, Scientist

The First Church of Christ, Scientist (the official name includes the definitive article "the") is the "Mother Church" of the Christian Science denomination. It is located in Boston, Massachusetts.
As the lead of the denomination, it certifies sanatoriums (health-promoting therapy or recuperation centers) nationwide affiliated with that religion; such certification is expressly recognized by Federal law.[1]
