Luzerne County is one of 67 counties in Pennsylvania, and a so-called "pivot county" that switched from an Obama majority in 2012 to a Trump majority in 2016.[1]

As of August 17, 2024, Luzerne County was reportedly only 1,042 voters from flipping from a Dem majority to a GOP majority.[2]
