Pamela Bondi (b. November 17, 1965) is an Italian American attorney, lobbyist[1] (including previously for a Kuwaiti and QatarI), and politician. A Republican, she served as the 37th Florida attorney general from 2011 to 2019, as the first woman elected to that office. Nominated by President-elect Trump in November 2024 to serve as the United States Attorney General.[2] In 2016, Bondi was active in "Women for Trump."[3] And she has defended him ever since.
She is known especially as being tough on crime.
Some conservatives[1] have criticized her, especially regarding the 2012 Trayvon Martin case.
