Wetherby

Wetherby is a market town and civil parish in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. It lies 12 miles north-east of Leeds city centre, 12 miles west of York and 8 miles south of Harrogate. As of 2021, the town has a population of just under 12,000.
Wetherby Bridge spans the River Wharfe as it passes though the town and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Wetherby is located on the Great North Road between London and Edinburgh, roughly marking the halfway point between those two capital cities.
