Wetherby

Wetherby is a market town and civil parish in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. It lies 12 miles north-east of Leeds city centre, 12 miles west of York and 8 miles south of Harrogate. As of 2021, the town has a population of just under 12,000. For the purposes of local government, it is administered by Leeds City Council.
Wetherby Bridge spans the River Wharfe as it passes though the town and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Wetherby is located on the Great North Road between London and Edinburgh, roughly marking the halfway point between those two capital cities.
